The Way Back Home
I let go of the life I built… to finally live the one that was calling me.

Hi, I’m Shelagh.
For most of my life, I followed the script:
Career. Marriage. Kids.
Gardens to tend, bills to pay, roles to uphold.
On the outside, it looked like I had everything together.
But on the inside… I felt like a stranger to myself.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t living my dream.
I was living someone else’s.
Society’s. My parents’. The one that promised security but left me quietly longing.

I spent years waiting.
Waiting to retire.
Waiting to feel “ready.”
Waiting for permission.
​
Then one day, I stopped waiting.
I sold my house. Bought a decked out Winnebago Van.
And followed the only thing I could trust: my intuition.

I didn’t have it all figured out. I still don’t.
But what I’ve learned is this:

You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
And it’s never too late to come home to yourself.
Now I help other women remember who they are beneath the noise.
To honor the whispers.
To trust their timing.
And to begin again.
